Well - it's official - 38 weeks. I passed the gestational diabetes test so it appears as though we're just having a big healthy baby boy! I will have a repeat ultrasound next week to determine his size (assuming he hasn't made an arrival by then). According to www.babycenter.com an average baby right now weighs about 6.8 pounds - he is just a wee bit bigger. :) The good news is that organs are developed and ready for the world and we are ready for him so hopefully the stars will align and this baby will greet us this weekend. I can't stop wondering what color his eyes will be, will he have hair, who will he look like..... All to be answered in due time I suppose!

ReplyDeleteYou can't imagine how excited for you we are! The feeling of becoming a mommy and looking at your baby for the first time can't be described! It is truly amazing. I think about you all the time, so this blog thing is really cool! Don't forget how I got Isaac Gabriel out...down on my hands and knees mopping! How bad do ya want it? heehee Well, best wishes!
